Merry Christmas fellow readers! Here's a little Xmas e-card I made with my purikura app, featuring my new puppy, Kenji! :) He's just a cute, little ball of hyperactive fun lol!

I changed my layout too if you've noticed. :3 Thought I had the time to organize it up a bit. Now I'm off to have my first Xmas dinner (with so much more to come Dx) ugh... this is going to be a fat weekend haha~~

Las Vegas Summer Trip ~ Part 1

Ok so here's the extremely late post I was supposed to write about my Vegas trip back in August Dx Now that I'm... procrastinating on cleaning my room and have time lol. This is more of an image post than anything. Just short summaries of my stay :) Please be aware it might be image heavy!

The bf sleeping on the plane ride there~ (random lady's butt the background =_=)

At first before we went, James only wanted to stay a "normal" hotel there because of financial issues... I thought he was crazy LOL! When you're in Vegas you wanna stay at one of the amazing 5 diamond hotels that they're famous for! Because hey, the prices are extremely good/reasonable for what you get. It's probably a little cheaper or more than an average Best Western Inn and it's pure luxury.

I'm so happy I chose the hotel because I went with The Venetian ;) Everyone commonly goes to Caesars Palace but I didn't think the rooms or interior design matched up as well as Venetian. My cousin was so jealous and called me a bitch because she's been to Vegas numerous times but has never gone to this hotel and she wanted to so badly XDDD I guess cause it's more "honeymoon/couple-y??" hahaha I mean the standard room for The Venetian was a SUITE! Other hotels I checked and they all have that basic cheap room if you don't wanna spend too much but the default room for this is just... wow. And it's for about $150 a night??

I took so many snapshots of our Luxury Suite (once I come back, I'm totally going to upgrade our room, no matter the cost LOL) I just loooooove hotels and fancy washrooms. XDDD I don't care most of the time if the room is crap, as long as the washroom looks nice lololol!

Autumn British Doll Photoshoot~

This was a photo shoot done with my boyfriend as the photographer about 3 weeks ago (since my hair is not blonde anymore ToT). I guess in a way I kinda inspired him to seriously take up photography? If not just for a hobby. He wanted to also help me take good modeling pictures for my portfolio once he gets better and do that whole "camera-man dating the model thing" XD LOL! As long as I get to do the styling and he can take care of the rest. I kept poking fun of him and his "noobie" camera skills because they were pretty bad ;P Out of the hundreds of images he took, I found only a couple I really liked which includes the ones above! Overall he just needed work on the angles because so many of them made me look extremely fat... =_=;;

I coordinated this with the big retro/European style boom that has been going on in Japanese fashions lately. This is the British-styled instead of the French, which I will do again later on with proper photos! x3

Hype my look? =D <333 That's all fellow readers~

Purikura Apps For Itouch/Phones Review~

After many requests, here is the post with the two purikura apps I discovered on my itouch 4! Many other users probably already tried this but for those who haven't, I made a quick little rundown here.

They're called "DECOPIC" and "PriPri Marron" (DECOPIC is free, PRIPRI was for a limited time and is now paid) ^as shown in the above image

First up is "DECOPIC"! I really like this app because of the roller stamp controls. I think the only thing that really bugs me about it is that the image size is a square as shown above. So you have to crop your pic instead of having it the full length.

There's many types of nice filters you can use! You have to decorate images and upload them to be able to unlock the other filters so it kinda acts as a game. Overall I really like the roller and stamps from this app. They classified them between six categories.

The other app is "PriPri Marron" ^the pink bear mascot. This one allows you to edit the full pic without cropping but you can crop if you want. The stamps and roller isn't as good as "DECOPIC" in my opinion, but still overall very cute ^-^

For either, you can change how big or small you want the stamps to be or rotating it around. I prefer "DECOPIC" for the text writing since they actually glow. For this app it's either plain or with a really faded border so text doesn't show up well. It has better image frames though! Text is hard to write in general with just your finger! XD Considering stylist pens don't work on the screen it's hard to see what you're writing.

That's all for this post! Hope you enjoy downloading them and making your own purikura creations. =)

Mini Sakuranbomb Meet & New Nails!

Today I went down to Richmond to meet up with Shawna and Katrina. We were supposed to spend awhile with each other but Kat ended up being late and our lunch took a long time so I rushed for my nail appointment >_<;;; Really wanted to take more purikura photos and shop too... Next time when I have nothing planned or if we have more hours! We went to lunch at a Japanese restaurant called "Guu"; it was my very first time going there!

Took images of Shawna and Kat and purikura-ed them with my new found apps XD

After that we went for purikura quickly before my appointment~

I originally planned to wear this outfit, but unfortunately it was pissing rain and cold. People would've stared me down like I was crazy lol. It was also morning and here I am all in black looking ready for the club. So I had to wear tights and my Liz Lisa sweater over.

After bidding goodbye to the girls, I headed over to Glam Nails! My first time going to an actual Japanese salon. I felt so at home there, the manager (who also went to the same college as me, but for nails) was just so funny and sweet. She kept saying I was "chouuu kawaii" and "kirei" ^////^ Even after I walked 3 blocks to get to their salon in hurricane wind and rain. -____- I got a really pretty girl named Misa to design my nails. She's about my age and came from Osaka, so she specializes in doing trendy/blingy styles. The both of us are interested in ageha and gyaru fashion so we talked about that too. It was surprising how much Japanese I understood when all the staff were chatting amongst themselves =O I would start convo with Misa with stories they were telling too and she was surprised I knew what they were talking about lol.

This is the end result! She did the nails so nicely and in a quick amount of time too, I was impressed. My first time ever getting pointy/rounded type tips instead of square cut so it felt kinda different. It came out to be $130 without tax or tip. I ended up paying $166 altogether (there's only a discount if you pay by cash), but I don't think that's too bad! You can tell the difference that it's more refined than 3D designs done by Chinese or Vietnamese artists! I might try Kaen next time, it'll be a male artist over that location, so I think I'll favor Glam the most. XD It's more homey.

Next post I will review on the purikura apps I discovered in my itouch! It should be available for iphones too~ ^_^

Purikura, Castle Fairmont, Halloween Weekend~

Fellow readers, I am glad to say I'm officially done with school! =D Omg when I think about it, a whole year went by really fast. I graduated but won't be getting a diploma because I had incomplete courses. Wasn't really interested anymore in this industry... Well actually I'm still interested in some areas and love fashion but, over here in the western community, not so much. I didn't want to drop out of school when I'm halfway done, that would be a waste of money and my parents would freak, so I decided to just stick with it till the end for the education. I learned a lot that's for sure, but only things I WANT to learn. Other classes I thought were pointless and barely showed up. =_=;;

Now that I'm done, I'm back to working full-time! So more money, free time and less stress lol. I'll be able  to update my blog more often and manage my online store normally!

I went to Richmond on Sunday and took some more solo purikuras at the new machine in Parker Place. I'm wearing my coordinated outfit from the previous blog posts (I had the same outfit last week for my 10th month date on Friday). My bf felt embarrassed to walk next to me cuz I apparently I looked like a upper class French/British-styled woman and he was the baggage boy in his clothes LOL XD He'd tail behind me and hold the bags and umbrella when we went to the Fairmont Vancouver for our overnight stay. It was the castle one so I had to dress classy! He looked really nice after he put on dressier clothes for the night out but still thought I was more "out there" 8D

This was our bedroom. We got the King Suite~ ^-^ I felt like I should've picked the Gold Room but it wasn't as big as this room which was about 700sq ft. The bedroom was separate from the living room by 2 French glass doors on either side. My friend Matt, who works at there hooked us up and can give friends/family discounts at any Fairmont hotel which was a lot! I was super happy lol He said, I quote "ps. what a fucking good bf, I'm so jealous!!" LOL (yes he is gay and awesome =P)
I am definitely happy and blessed to have him as my bf <3 We were supposed to go out with my friends to party/club for the Halloween weekend but he didn't feel like drinking and I'm still getting over my flu ;( (which I kinda gave to him haha) It wouldn't do any of us good after. Especially since I had work the next day. We just walked around downtown and saw a lot of cool costumes though =3

That's my life in the past week, I will keep you more updated! =D Thank you!
I'm going to finally update next with my Vegas trip back in August (SO unbelievably late... Dx)

Halloween's Coming Up!

Hello readers~ Have you got your costumes planned for Halloween yet? (which is right around the corner) I've come down with the flu harsh since Sunday and missed school. Getting a bit better today but hopefully I can fully recover by this weekend for the parties that'll be happening! Otherwise my family will freak thinking I'm sick enough to miss school and not partying lol. I bought my pirate costume at Value Village on a whim (didn't even know if I was going out this year or not. Haven't celebrated Halloween since high school), because I just loved it! Pretty pricey for something found at the store but whatever lol I can find other uses for it maybe XDDD

What is everyone else dressing up as?? =D

ps. due to being overly busy from my blog updates/events, I never celebrated it's 1st anniversary back in August! I'm almost done school quite soon and will hold a giveaway~ =)

Seattle & Japan Buys - Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

To all the Canadians, Happy Belated Thanksgiving! (totally skipped school today even though I know I'll get in shit with my teach tomorrow -.-) I love how I went down to the States for shopping yesterday for that XD Holiday in Canada and everyone piles down there. These are just some items I bought from the past 2 weeks of going to Seattle. I really love the whole French/British-style fashions that's happening for Fall and decided to get inspiration from that.

We went to Seattle's Premium Outlet and my god everything was so cheap! Conversion from US/CAD money along with only one 9% tax makes it better than what you'd get here in Vancouver. I walked into Juicy Couture and came out with like 4 bags LOL XD It was the only shop I really liked there. Other western brands didn't interest me too much. Maybe the sports clothing but I'm not in the mood to buy them haha~
I bought a new Juicy bag and the cute coat. I got the gloves from Icings and floppy hat from Claires here in Canada to try and recreate the look from the Golds Infinity model shown above. Other than this brown one, I need to buy a white trench-coat that isn't made of wool (tried using my Liz Lisa coat and it was too over-the-top or... bulky). I purchased quite a bit more the previous week, including 2 boots, when I went downtown overnight with my boyfriend but I was too lazy to take pics Dx

And these are just items that arrived in the mail recently. My d.i.a top and first Golds Infinity item, the choker. I used Japonica Market again for the service (highly recommended).

These are probably going to be my last buys for awhile (I know I keep saying that), because I really need to start saving money for Japan. I wanted to go next Spring for the blossoms but planning it out more, next Summer will be better financial-wise. Other than that, I also dyed my hair again! ^_^ First time where I got the bleaching correctly by myself instead of using so much money at the salon. The only thing that bugs me is that the roots are kinda orange -.- Since the color there was black to dark brown and didn't bleach well...

Well that's it for this post! Thanks for reading! Remember next week is the last time to use the 20% discount for my Facebook online shop!

Geo Bambi Almond - Lens Review (HoneyColor)

Usage Modality:  Yearly
BC:  8.6 mm
DIA:  14.5 mm
Water content:  38%

(views of the lens in different lighting)

Comfort: The first time I put these contacts on, the left eye was comfortable... but the right one was unbelievable irritable. I tried switching sides to make sure it's right or not inside out. Even leaving it in for a bit longer then adjusting it cause sometimes that works but nothing. I couldn't handle leaving them in for more than 3 minutes because it hurt so much, so I ended up giving them a bad review for that. Though the lens itself I really liked on me. (I've heard from other users that the Bambi series can have problems regarding this too) But now after I left it in my own solution for a week without touching them, they are very comfortable to put on! I'm glad I was able to use them in the end instead of throwing them away for thinking it's defected. So my true rating for the comfort has changed~ =)

Color & Enlargement: I absolutely love the color! Even in dark lighting you can still see it! I would have to say it is similar to the Honey Wing one I have also by Tsubasa, but this one's diameter is much larger. The enlargement is very visible and works well for Asian-type eyes. I already have big eyes and these made them look even bigger without looking too scary like the pure black colors I've tried before.

I won't comment on the service since it's not the first time I tried out HoneyColor, I think I've become a dedicated buyer of their site. As always they gave me a cute case (this time pink pig), with nice packaging that changes color every time you purchase from them.

To see me wearing the lenses with a whole outfit and shown face, refer to the blog entry! I entered my photo on their monthly FaceBook contest to win contacts so if you "like" my pic, I'd really appreciate your votes!
